Why? Do you love playing games? Happy anorak has more games than evenings to play them and quite a few that would work better with more people. So we decided to set up an informal games night – a stay and play for grown-ups – where people can get together with other games geeks and maybe try a new game or two.

April – June: Bored? Games! a games night for everyone
There’s no games snobbery here – if you want to ruminate over a game of chess, get competitive with Uno, or indulge your inner child with screwball scramble, you’re welcome. Happy anorak loves a cooperative game (Pandemic, anyone?) but if you prefer a bit of competition that’s ok too. Card, dice and board games all have a place at Bored? Games! We’ve got a good selection of games but feel free to bring your own too. We might even run some themed nights in future – we love an escape room or crime casefile. Bring your ideas and suggestions with you.
We’ll provide hot drinks and (unsticky) snacks, music and a friendly face. Sessions are informal and there’ll be a quieter space for those who prefer quieter games.
Over 18s only, £4 per session to cover costs – pay on the night (cash or card).
